What happens if your gamerscore gets reset
If a completed achievement hasn't appeared online after 72 hours, your console might not be connected to the Xbox network. If you completed an achievement or challenge while offline, you won't receive related notices or rewards until you connect to the Xbox network. Verify that your console is connected to the network.

Even mods and hacks work to increase gamerscore. That is just the way that the system is set up. MS can and will reset gamerscore for cheaters, but they do not reset the scores of individual games and I am not sure if it would even be possible. So do i have to pace myself getting achievements now in games!? In reply to brandiesel1's post on April 10, I honestly wouldnt know how to circumvent the requirents to get achievements - other than the odd collectible guide!! But ive not got the know how to cheat achievements onto my gamercard! Sometimes this happens if some game score was acquired by alternate means. A subscription to make the most of your time.

It is more likely a issue with the Xbox servers than a Gamerscore reset. Glitches like this can happen especially with the way Xbox one achievements are stored on the servers now. It happened to myself 3 times in the last 12 months and they normally sort them selves out after a few days. It is against Steam rules to use third party tools to cheat in any game and using Steam Achievement Manager is cheating in order to unlock all the achievements which will also appear on your Steam Profile page.
