They will be released and the spirit of Amuana will appear. Continue through the temple ruins until you reach the room with the letters on the floor. To get by, step on the letters spelling Amaunator's name. That is, first step on the 'A' in the bottom right, then step forward, left, forward, forward, forward, left, forward, forward, forward.

Defeat the Bone Golem and take the Sun Gem from the statue. Use the Gem to open the next glass door. In the room next to the Statue of Amaunator, you'll find a shadow who will ask you for help. In the corner of this room you will find the Lightstone Symbol. Speak to the statue in the north corner of the area and answer his questions about the rituals successfully to pass the test and recieve the Sun Ray Symbol.

For each question you are given three choises. The correct responses are 2, 3, 1, 3, 1, 1, 1, 3, 2. Once you have all three symbol pieces, they will merge to form the Symbol of Amaunator.

Use this to open the door to the Shade Lord's lair. Climb the stairs behind the door and you will be in the liar of the Shadow Dragon Thaxl'ssillyia. He is very difficult to defeat so don't even try unless you are powerful. If you have the Shadow Dragon Wardstone , you can sneak by without waking him. At the top of the stairs you will meet the Shade Lord by the altar.

Defeat the him, the Shade Altar, and the shade Patrick to rid the area of his shadowy evil. Speak to Merella lying where the Shade Lord was. She will thank you for freeing her before she expires. Report you success to Minister Lloyd in Imnesvale to receive a reward. If you are a ranger, he will offer you Merella's cabin. Island Concerns: Ginia's Tale Brynnlaw ; ex, gold Speak to Ginia on the east side of Brynnlaw and tell her you will help her and her brother.

Return to Ginia and tell her that she is free. If you have Keldorn with you, he will wish to see his family when you enter the Government District. Enter the Firecam Estate in the Government District. Keldorn's wife will reveal that she has had an affair with Sir William of Thorpe. Though Keldorn will want to bring the matter to the courts so that Sir William will hang and his wife will be imprisoned, convince him to speak with Sir William instead.

Enter the Mithrest in the Promenade. Sir William will convince Keldorn that he has been a poor husband and father because he never spends any time with his family. Return to the Firecam Estate in the Goverment District so that Keldorn may be reconciled with his wife. He will ask you if he can stay with his family. Go west a little ways and defeat the Sea Troll in the southwest corner of the sewers. Return to Roger for your reward. Near the northwest corner of the Graveyard District , you will meet a paladin named Kamir who is mourning the loss of his adopted son whom he failed to protect.

A priest named Arenthis in the southeast part of the area will tell you that he is looking for someone to care for an orphan named Risa. Speak to Kamir again and tell him about Risa. He will thank you and leave to find the child.

Return to Arenthis and Risa to the southeast. Kamir will take the child with him and Arenthis will thank you for your help. He will ask you to bring his proposition to Minister Lloyd. Return south to the village and speak to Minister Lloyd in his house.

Give him Madulf's proposal and he will promise to speak to Madulf himself. Speak to Lloyd again later and he will tell you he has agreed to live peacefully with Madulf and his group. Return to Madulf again and he will give you a shield that he doesn't need anymore. Mage Stronghold Planar Sphere ; ex. Enter the sphere and Reyna the Solamnic knight will ask you to return her to her own plane.

A cowled wizard named Teos will appear and make you an offer. They will allow you to keep the sphere if you agree to complete some tasks for them. Speak to Ribald in the Adventurer's Mart in the Promenade. Give him gold and return to your sphere.

Reyna will give you a Golden Girdle in thanks. He will agree to take the knights into his order. The knights will accept this, though they won't be very happy. In the front room of the sphere, Teos will appear again.

He will bring three young apprenti with him which you will be responsible for. Return in four days and the item will be completed. If you chose the ring, Larz will die creating it. For their next task, your apprenti will either create a Mislead scroll, an Abi Dalzim's Horrid Wilting scroll, or a Meteor Swarm scroll.

Nara will die in trying to make the Meteor Swarm scroll. You can pick up the items after four days. For their final task, your apprenti will offer to make a Robe of the Apprenti for gold, a Ring of Wizardry for gold, or a Staff of Power for gold. One, two, or all three of your apprenti will die in trying to create these items depending on how difficult the item was that you asked them to make. If you forbid them to make any of these three items, all three mages will survive and their training will be complete.

Twenty-four hours after your apprenti have left your service, Teos will reappear and invite you to their graduation in your sphere if any of them survived. If all three of your apprenti survived, they will thank you for your training. Otherwise, they will not have anything pleasant to say. Two days later, Sergeant Natula will appear and tell you to return to the Planar Sphere quickly. When you enter the Planar Sphere , Teos will appear ask you why you summoned him. Sergeant Natula will appear along with several others and ambush you.

Once you have defeated all the ambushers, Teos will reappear and ask you to remove Ketlaar Argrim who was behind the attack. He will give you the Rune of Imprisonment. Enter the Crooked Crane by the City Gates and go up to the 2nd floor. Defeat Argrim's bodyguards and use the Rune of Imprisonment on him. Return to Teos to report your success. In return, he will tell what he can about Imoen. Morul will appear and ask to be your apprentice. He will provide you with several potions each week. If you have Nalia in your party, she will be approached by a messenger about a week after you have cleared the de'Arnise Keep.

She will tell you that she needs to be in the Graveyard Distrct for her father's funeral. Go to the Graveyard Distrct and the messenger will show you to where the funeral is being held. Speak to Isaea Roenal. He will not take well Nalia's cancelation of thier engagement. One day later, Isaea will appear with several Amnish guards and abduct Nalia. Immediately afterward, a man named Khellor Ahmson will approach your party and give you some advise on how to get back at Isaea.

He is drunk and will tell you about Isaea's involvement in piracy and slavery. He will also mention a contact named Dirth. Enter the Sea Bounty and speak to Officer Dirth who will attack your party. Take Isaea's Slavery Docements from his body. Go the the Government District and enter the Roenal Estate on the north end. Take Isaea's Financial Statements from one of the drawers. Speak to Corgeig Axehand in the Government Building.

Tell him of Isaea's involvement in piracy, slave trading, and gem smuggling and show him the two documents you found. He will begin an investigation into Isaea and his affairs. Nalia will be returned to your party. Paladin Stronghold Duties Temple District ; ex. If you are a paladin, a squire will escort you to Prelate Wessalen who will invite you into the order. Speak to Sir William Reirrac in the center of the building to receive your first assignment.

He will ask you to aid an outpost which is under attack. Go to the Umar Hills where Sir Alymar will bring you to the battle. Fight off the orcs, ogre mages, and ettins.

Squire Elotte will thank you for helping them if they survive the battle. Report to William Reirrac in the Order of the Radiant Heart building to receive your next assignment. He ll ask you to meet a baron in Imnesvale and seek a resolution to the problem there. Return to the Umar Hills. Crolus will direct you to the Imnesvale Inn. Spek to one of the farmers outside of the inn to hear their side of the story first. They will claim to have been on the land first.

Enter the inn and speak with Baron Metrich. It should become clear that he is in the wrong. Side with the farmers and he and his men will attack you. When you leave the inn, the farmers will thank for your support. Return to the Order of the Radiant Heart building to report on the outcome of your task and to receive your next assignment. Go to the Docks District and enter the building next to the temple.

Relieve Franco of his duty and begin your task of protecting Tyrianna. Defeat all four of the assissins when they appear. When Hurgis Baltezan appears, cast Detect Evil to learn his true nature. If nothing happens, go upstairs and tell Tyrianna to go downstairs.

If he glows red, kill him and tell Tyrianna that you have killed an imposter. If you killed the real Hurgis Baltezan or gave Tyrianna to an imposter, you will be thrown out of the order in disgrace. If you killed the imposter or gave Tyrianna to the real Hurgis Baltezan, you will be rewarded. Sir William will give you your final task to confront Firkraag again, defeat him, and retrieve the Avenger Sword from his grasp. Journey to the Windspear Hills and descend to the lowest level of the ruins where Firkraag resides.

Before you confront Firkraag, you may want to prepare for the battle by resting and learning appropriate spells. Enter the cavern and attack challenge Firkraag. See the tips section for tips on how to defeat him. Return to Sir William Reirrac with the sword and he will praise you for your accomplishment. Enter the Graveyard District at night and the spirit of a child named Wellyn will approach your party at the south end of the area.

He will ask for his stuffed bear back. Go to the Slums and enter the Copper Coronet. Ask Lehtinan about his 'other entertainments' and he will allow you to enter the back rooms.

In one of the back rooms you will find the thief Llynis. Kill him and take Wellyn's stuffed bear. Return the bear to Wellyn and he will be able to rest. After a few days, a forest spirit named Mairyn will ask you to stop the humans who are damaging her forest. Agree to find the mithril cache he is looking for. Just to the east, in the middle of some rock outcroppings you will find a Mithril Medallion and a letter. Take both of them and show them to Lord Igen Tombelthen and he will give you gold for your efforts.

A couple of days later, Delon will find your party and ask you to return to Imnesvale because it is about to be attacked. Return to Imnesvale and speak with Minister Lloyd. He will ask you to destroy the ogrons that are threatening the village. Go to the cave northeast of the town and defeat the Orogs and Orcs standing in front of it.

Return to Minister Lloyd and he will thank you for your help. A few days later, Delon will find your party again and tell you Imnesvale needs your help again. Speak to Minister Lloyd in Imnesvale. He will tell you that Umar, or someone claiming to be Umar, has returned and is demanding the villagers to leave.

Go to the Temple Ruins area and in the northeast corner you will meet Mairyn again who will ask you to defeat the sorceress. Enter the dungeon where you will be attacked by many undead. Defeat Umar in the crystal room near the west side of the dungeon.

Leave the dungeon and Mairyn, the forest spirit, will reward you with the Moon Dog Figurine. Lord Jierdan in the Copper Coronet will offer you gold for your service in defeating a band of Ogres and Trolls that have been plaguing his hold. Journey to the Windspear hills on the far east side of your map. You will immediately be set upon by a band of ogres. Once you have defeated the ogres, you will discover the bodies of knights. You have been tricked by an illusion! Garren Windspear will appear and offer you sanctuary in his home.

Enter Gerran's house and he will offer to go to the Knights of the Radiant Heart and explain to them the situation in an attempt to redeem you and your party. His daughter Iltha will try to encourage you. When you awake from your rest, you will be attacked by bandits who will kidnap Altha. After you defeat the bandits, Garren Windspear will return but he will believe that his daughter's lose was not your fault.

He will tell you that your name has been cleared with the paladans and you will vow to rescue his daughter. Enter the dungeon in the northeast corner of the area. Fight the hobgoblins and other monsters and enter the second area. Near the center of the second area , you will meet Samia. She will ask your party to enter King Strohm's tomb and fetch some books for her, but when you leave she and her party will attack you.

If you refuse to help her, she will attack you anyway. In the hallway behind Samia, you will have to fight a Greater Werewolf. It regenerates extremely quickly. To kill it, you need a couple critical hits in a row.

Continue through the area and to the northwest you will find Chieftain DigDag and Tazak who apparently has risen from the dead You defeated him when you defeated Saravok in Baldur's Gate. Speak to Iltha in the cell. She will tell you that the mage who locked her up had the key for her cell. Enter the cavern and will find Firkraag, a red dragon.

He will explain why he has done the things he did and will allow you to take Gerran's child back if you can catch Conster who will disappear through a Dimension Door.

Return to the previous area and fight Conster. Take the key from his body and free Iltha. Return to Gerran Windspear in his cabin and he will thank you for saving his daughter.

After you have freed Haer'Dalis and given the Portal Gem to Raelis, she will ask you to guard them as they open a planar portal to leave the Material Plane. Defeat the four monsters that appear from the portal. Bounty hunters will come through the portal and take Raelis and the others with them.

Step through the portal to follow the bounty hunters to the planar prison. If you are not a Cleric or you are a Cleric of Neutral alignment, you get the quest from the Temple of Helm. The temple usually remains neutral in the battles between the other two temples of Lathander and Talos but now Talos threatens to gain too much power, unsettling the balance. Telwyn sends you to speak to Dawnbringer Sain in the Temple of Lathander. The followers of Talos have stolen a valuable artifact, the Dawn Ring, from the Lathander temple and your job is to get it back.

Walkthrough [ ] If this was done for the temple of Helm, Guardian Telwyn will ask you to help Dawnbringer Sain , who is a priest of the Temple of Lathander next to the temple of Helm. Go to the Athkatla Slums and speak to the thief Travin near the north end of the area. Threaten him and he will tell you where you can find the current holder of the ring.

Enter Borinall's House above the Copper Coronet and either swear allegiance to Talos and Borinall will give you the ring or kill him and take the ring from his body.
